Corporate Photography services in Los Angeles is comprised of different rates and prices.

Some Los Angeles Photographers may charge by the photo, usually $50- $900 per photo. It all depends on location services; hair make up services and how much retouching is involved.

On location photography for actors and actresses in the Hollywood – Los Angeles areas are abundant. Check with your friends and get referrals.

Some photographers may charge a lower rate for on-location shooting withing a certain area (THE TMZ) .
This is for several reasons.

In most cases, on- Location photography is less of a hassle with minimum gear set ups. In-studio photography usually involves a studio rental fee.
A vast majority of LA area Photographers do not own their own studio.

Instead, they rent a small office or studio in the area or sometimes they can have a in-home studio set up if they have enough real-estate space.

Be cautious if traveling to a photo-shoot at a photographer’s personal home for the first time.
Bringing a companion or friend is recommended.

On-Location shoots usually do not require a permit if shooting low-key and non-commercial.
Some areas do require an on-location permit such as Beverly Hills.

In addition to BTS, Behind The scenes, movie set photography, We offer actor and actress headshot photography, Modeling photography services and corporate headshot photography in the following areas, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Pasadena, Santa Monica, Venice, Malibu, the San Fernando Valley including Burbank, Northridge, Woodland Hills, Agora Hills, Hidden Hills, Calabasas and many other hot spots in the San Fernando valley.

We are located in the Studio City areas near Toluca Lake, about a mile from Universal Studios in Universal City. We are considered a local photography services within the TMZ, The Thirty Mile Zone.

Travel rates may apply to on-location Photography outside the TMZ.

Final Photo Selections will be delivered at the Photographer’s discretion. Usage will vary and depend on agreed contract.

Artistic Style

Clients acknowledge that Star Medias requires and retains discretion concerning the services to be provided [ie; posing, lighting, camera angles, lens, etc].

Clients acknowledge and are familiar with Starr medias portfolio and stylistic choices, yet recognize that the art form consistently evolves, is artistic in nature, and yet is different than past artistic work by Starr Medias. In the creation of the final product for Clients, Starr Medias reserves the right to artistic choices that fall within the boundaries of agreed upon services and terms.

image Selection Processing and Editing

After the date of the event and completion of services, the photos created from the day are subject to a careful selection process by Starr Medias. Starr Medias, James Starr, photographer, reserves the right to strategically choose the ideal photos to be edited and delivered to clients. All culling and editing is under the complete control and authority of Starr Medias / James Starr. Starr Medias does not guarantee a minimum number of photos to be delivered to clients.

Raw Photos / Photo Data Archiving

Under no circumstances will Star Medias allow the delivery of RAW photos to clients.

All delivery of digital images will be in .jpeg format via an online gallery or delivered via USB drive or other agreed upon method. Starr Medias deletes all RAW photo files one month after the delivery of the final edited .jpeg files to clients. Clients are responsible for downloading and saving the delivered data in multiple places to ensure the safety of all edited photos.

Second Photographer

If clients select any service that includes a second photographer, Starr Medias will hire an independent professional contractor. Starr Medias and clients will allow the independent professional contractor to use the photos that they produce for their personal/professional portfolio after Starr Medias delivers the final edited photos to clients. Starr Medias reserves the right to reject images taken by the contracted second photographer that do not meet the quality criteria of expectation by Starr Medias. Clients understands that they will not receive the additional rejected photos by Starr Medias upon delivery.

Lost Items

Starr Medias is not responsible for items lost by the United States Postal Service/FedEx/UPS or invalid stamps and/or addresses on contact forms.

Location Acess, Fees, Permits

If clients choose to shoot at a location that charges for access and/or permit for photography, clients shall be responsible for all fees associated with shooting there, including but not limited to entrance fees and parking. Clients shall also be responsible for organizing access ot the location and any permits required for doing so.

Exclusivity

Starr Medias [and hired professional contractors] will be the only professional photographers[s] photographing on the day of the event.

Substitution

In the highly unlikely event that Starr Medias [and /or hired profession contractors] cannot complete the responsibilities governed by this agreement due to illness, death, fire, act of God, or other event beyond the control of Starr Medias, the following shall occur. Starr Medias will arrange for [1] a substitute professional photographer, and/or [2] an adjustment to either the fee amount or the contents of clients’ choice of services. If clients defer the substitution offer, they may elect instead to terminate the agreement subject to the following: Starr Medias shall refund all payments made by clients including a full refund of the 50 percent retainer.

All digital photo edits shall remain the exclusive copyrighted property of Starr Medias to be used both publicly and privately. This copyright includes but is not limited to online use.

Event Date Change

In the event that clients terminate or change the date of the photography event after the signing of this agreement, Client’s original 50 percent retainer will be applied to the new date if it is available. If the reschedules date is not available for Starr Medias to provide photography services, the 50 percent retainer will not be refunded, and the agreement of this contract will be terminated. Starr Medias will not be held responsible for the change of the photography event date if clients choose to change said date.

Harassment

Starr Medias will not tolerate any form of harassment from clients, those associated with clients, persons representing clients’ guests, vendors, security, building management, and/or any other persons present before, during or after client’s event or session. If Starr Medias and/or hired contractors feel uncomfortable or threatened due to verbal, physical, or sexual harassment of any kind at Clients event, Starr Medias will discuss the situation with clients, and if the situation is not resolved, Starr Medias reserves the right to withdraw from photographing client’s project, event or session and will not be held liable for reimbursement of any monies paid.

Creative Release

Starr Medias will document the events that transpire based upon prior communication between client and Starr Medias. Starr Medias will act in the best interest of client’s events and the preservation of Starr Media’s creative vision. In doing so, Starr Medias will try its best to capture random or candid moments as they transpire, but cannot guarantee specific images or comprehensive coverage. If certain shots or images are pertinent, the client or a representative of the client shall arrange and manage time accordingly and notify said priorities to Starr Media on location to ensure all priority basis are covered.
